Hello TESS followers! In this special feature we bring you news of an exciting new job opportunity at STScI, host to the MAST (Mikulski Archive for Space Telescope) archive that contains data from more than 20 missions, including TESS.
The Data Management Division (DMD) at STScI is seeking an Astronomical Data Scientist to support the TESS archive and its Higher Level Science products, in addition to providing support to both Kepler and K2.
This is a full-time, permanent, 100% functional position, but it does include the option to buy back up to 25% - 50% of your time for personal research through the use of any approved external funding or grants you may receive.
