Description |
Spacecraft pointing |
Sector 52 consists of observations of the northern ecliptic hemisphere. The pointing was set
at +85 degrees in ecliptic latitude so that Camera 2 and Camera 3 straddle the ecliptic pole.
Camera 4 alone was used for guiding in both orbit 111 and 112.
|
Scattered light |
The Earth comes very close to the corner of the FOV of Camera 1 in the early part of
both orbit 111 and orbit 112: the resulting scattered light saturates the CCD detectors in
Camera 1.
